Just before you are preparing to leave for the party, you spray yourself with your favorite perfume. It has been just a few months since you have been using this perfume as your favorite and there is a reason behind this. You have been observing your favorite movie star advocating the use of this brand and you are sure that what is good for her has got to be good for you.
Humans, by nature love to ape their favorite stars. There are few who can escape this mentality and most of them do not know that they should have their own personal preference. The perfume might not suit them or the watch that they are wearing might not be looking good on their wrists, but they do not bother to think about that. Just because their favorite star is using a particular product is reason enough for them to consider that product as exclusive.
If they had bothered to look behind the scenes, they might have found out that their beloved star had used that product just once in their lifetime… during the time the advertisement was shot. Keeping in mind the mentality of people to ape the stars and to use the products that they think their stars use, manufacturers are turning more and more towards producing more celebrity labels. They have not been proved wrong since one can observe that cosmetic products that bear celebrity labels are the one that sell the most.
