This summer, we say hello again to the sun. If you love makeup you may have the problem like ruined eyeliner, foundation moving from on spot to another, and weird stripes just like the other girls. Summer does not need to be like this way for you and your makeup.
Here are some tips to keep your face “intact” even when the mercury is rising. Read on and find out how to keep your sweet looks during the sunny days.
- Instead of using the usual powder blush or lipstick, you can try some water blush or lip and cheek stain. You can get it for as cheap as $16 from your fave shop. Unlike traditional things you use, the stains will be able to last for several hours. It will not move or melt off.
- Runny mascara issues? It is a nightmare to be in this scenario especially when you know you used waterproof mascara. What you can do is have those lashes tinted. This way you will get a natural, soft look. It will also not be a big issue if you go without mascara.
- Go for mineral foundation instead of your liquid or cream foundations. Powder and mineral are dry so heat really does not affect them that much.
- Don’t forget to put on your primer. Yes, they are creamy but on hotter days they still do the job of keeping your makeup on.
- Opt for liquid eyeliner instead of your gel or pencil eyeliner. The change in formula really does not do much but application will be a lot easier. Even the best waterproof ones will run when the weather gets hot enough.
