Sometimes, it gets unbearable hot in the day and night that you just want to scream out loud to release the steam from your body. While sticking your face in the fridge is, ironically, not a cool way to cool down, here are tricky and surprising practical ways on how to chill even when it’s freaking hot outside.
1. Chill your creams. By simply sticking your beauty loot in the fridge for about an hour before using them, you get an effective wake-me-upper by the cream’s cold temperature. Try it with your eye creams to wake up your eyes.
2. Keep oil at bay. While using an oil blotting film does work, help keep excess oil at bay by controlling sebum production with facial masks. Try products that contain sulfur, clay, and eucalyptus to remove dead skin cells and clear up your pores as well.
3. Love Peppermint. Use it not only for your drink but also in your beauty loot. Try it in your hair and body products for an instant cooling sensation. If you can’t find products that contains peppermint, look for a peppermint spray and simply add that to your products
4. Go for an ice bath. By simply soaking your hands and feet in ice water, you will immediately feel cooler. Science tell us than when the temperature of your hands and feel cool down, everything else will follow.
5. More water, please. If you find H2O a bit boring, go for flavored drinks like fruit shakes and coconut water. Just make sure that you still get enough water to keep yourself from dehydration.
