Your eyes are going to be the thing that stand out in your makeup and you should definitely take advantage of that.  Ensuring that your eyeliner is thick and beautiful is something that most people do not know how to do.  Well – that is what I am going to teach you!

First – start with liquid eyeliner and practice … for that is what is going to make it perfect.  After you have practiced on some paper, next go ahead and start on the upper lid and follow the natural curve.  You will see that it looks awesome as soon as you pull back.  Go over it once more and you are done!

Balance your bright colors with a bronze, a taupe, something like that — and do not blend them. Smudge two colors together, but resist the urge to blend.

As well, if you decide to go with bold, bright eye makeup, then the rest of your face should be natural. No red lips, no bold streaks of blush — let your eyes pop, let them draw attention.

Bold makeup can be hard to carry off, after all, especially when it goes on around the eyes — it draws lots of attention to your most prominent features.

But you can take baby steps if you really want to try this trend without going all out with it right away. There are some tricks here to make you more comfortable.

For example, why not start out with just some bright eyeliners? Stay neutral with the shadow, if you like, or do not wear any at all; just stick to bold liners. White or silvery shades are great for this. Keep it a little thin on the top lid and a little thicker on the bottom.

When it comes to eyeliner – I have had so many problems finding a way to not only keep my eyes looking fresh all day but truly having the same look I did in the morning by the end of the day – well, there is hope for your eyeliner!  Have you been trying to find one that stays on all day but have only come up with failures?  I’ve been there too many times and honestly – I am done with it!  Here are some tips and tricks that should help you!

One of the first things that you want to do if you do have oily lids – because I know that I do is use a makeup primer.  Usually, your eyelids will not be as greasy once you start using the primer and it really will help you with your eyeliner as well!  Next, you want to make sure that you switch up your routine a bit – that means that you should switch up your makeup a bit too.

You want to ensure that your liner is set before you even start using your power, so make sure that you do that before you use powder.  The powder is there so truly lock in that color for you!

So we’ve been talking a hell of a lot about colors lately haven’t we?  Yes, we have talked about all sorts of different colors and one color that keeps popping up is pink!  Well, many of you simply have no idea how to use pink eye shadow in the right way and how you can achieve the perfect and bright look with just a little bit of eye shadow that’s pink!

Well, firstly, you need to find the shade that is going to match you.  This is the hard part and the part that many, many people have problems with.  Personally, since my eyes are green, I use a lighter pink and then a darker pink for around my eye lines.  However, if you have browns, you might be able to get away with just lighter pinks.

It all depends on the color of your eye!  Just remember to put the color on the bottom lid as well as the top lid and you should be totally and utterly fine!

So I do not know if you guys ever heard of eye jewelry, but I have to tell you that this stuff is actually really, really cool.  The only one that I have really ever tried is like little jewels that you place on the end of your eyelashes, they are like little balls and to be honest, they are freaking cool!  Instantly, I fell for them, but in this post I want to explore a different kind of eye jewelry.

Hazel Eyes: Look for soft pinks, copper, forest greens and cocoa brown

If you follow those steps – you will definitely have the hottest eyes in the world and they will definitely be very spring-like!

Okay, now that we have introduced the liquid eyeliner, kohl powder, kohl pencils, soft eyeliner pencils, hard eyeliner pencils products, it is now time for you to figure out which one is the right one for you!  If you are the type of person that is looking for a very dramatic affect for your eyes, you definitely want to get yourself some liquid liner.

Liquid liner to me is very hard to master, but once you do – your eyes can look incredible.  Kohl powder and kohl soft eyeliner pencils are two things that are fantastic if you are looking to smudge them.  That smoky-eye look that is ever-so-popular is definitely done by these products.

Soft eyeliner pencils and hard eyeliner pencils are two pencils that you can use if you are just looking to put on a little eyeliner to your eyes, they are not for the dramatic affect and you can probably use them everyday.  More in the next set of blogs folks!
