Purple does not have to be gaudy; it is not all about royal purple or aubergine or plum. You can stop thinking about bright purple grape juice!

There are soft, soft lavenders, beautiful lilacs, and even dark, smoldering burgundies.

Mixing shades does not have to scare you either. In fact, you can balance out your look by doing this.

You simply have to avoid going overboard. Purple in most shades can be an intense color, and while it has the power to be absolutely stunning, you have to begin with a light touch until you get more confident.

The loose kohl’s in this liner are very simple to use and they really do give you that professional looking smoky eye that you have probably been trying to get most of your life.  The coolest thing?  They come in six different colors, so you do not have to do black all of the time, however, I think that black looks the best on.

One thing that I have noticed about this particular eyeliner though is that you do have to be very careful with it – as it does stay where you put it.  So really try not to make any mistakes with it!

Well ladies, we all want to have eyelashes like in that picture right?  Well, there are quite a few ways that you can have lashes like in this picture and to be honest, it is not all that hard to do!  Firstly, you will need to drop that old mascara that you are using … honestly, how many times have you used it and what brand it is?  With all of the newest technologies in mascara out there, you need to ditch the old and bring in the new. 

One of the newest ways to make your eyelashes long is using the dual mascara – you know the type, the kinds that have a white side and then the actual mascara side.  I have to tell you, I used the newest ‘Double Extend’ mascara from L’Oreal and it is amazing!  Honestly, this stuff does not clump, does not fade or flick away and it really does extend the lashes well beyond the tip! 

Another great product is brand new!  Maybelline Stiletto is honestly going to be huge and it definitely does look awesome, just like all of the advertisements state!  Now ladies, I definitely wouldn’t lie to you when it comes to eyelashes, I am constantly trying to get mine longer and these two products are downright amazing, check them out!

Firstly, you need to pick your color.  Now, obviously, you want to find something that will match your skin tone.  We’ve all been through those years that our jaw lines never matched out neck and that is completely and utterly out of style, so you need to be sure that you are buying the right color!  While you are in the store, you will notice quite a few different choices most likely and you want to be sure that you hold your hand under the displays in order to find the one that matches you.

So now that we have gone through parts one through four of all of the classic make up styles, we are finally at the last one!  Of course, number one in our classic makeup styles look is going to be the smoky eye.  Not only has this look been around forever, but honestly, it is one of the coolest and more versatile looks in the world!  Not only can you throw on some smoky eyes to make an impression on a date, but you can also wear them if you are just hanging out!

Now, the trick to smoky eyes is that you need to make sure that you are blending it all together.  One of the biggest mistakes that people make is they do not blend well enough at the corners of their eyes and therefore, their eyes are not smoky at all.  Next, is you want to make sure that you are applying the very dramatic black color to your eyes… blacks, greys, silvers, blues and even some dark greens can all be used to make a very beautiful smoky eye.

Also, remember to blend in the color on the bottom lashes – the key is to smudge it on up and even adding a bit of water in can really help that.  So go on, get some smoky eyes and you’ll be so hot!

While this may not be a classic look, it is rather a makeup trick that is classic.  Applying powder over your foundation is something that has been around forever and in this day and age, it is a very important step to accomplish some of the very classic looks that I’ve listed below.

For instance, just a quick brush on of powder all over your face before you put on the rest of your makeup will buff away all of those tiny imperfections that you are constantly trying to hide.  Also, with all of the new technology coming out for makeup, applying powder onto your face after your foundation can actually help improve your skin.

Now, maybe you are one of the many people that have switched from regular foundation to Bare Minerals or something similar, that they are just strictly powder-based.  That is perfect!  You are not only buffing away the shine, but you are also keeping your skin fresh and young looking and that is a look that never goes out of style.  Keep it up ladies!

Humans, by nature love to ape their favorite stars. There are few who can escape this mentality and most of them do not know that they should have their own personal preference. The perfume might not suit them or the watch that they are wearing might not be looking good on their wrists, but they do not bother to think about that. Just because their favorite star is using a particular product is reason enough for them to consider that product as exclusive.

If they had bothered to look behind the scenes, they might have found out that their beloved star had used that product just once in their lifetime… during the time the advertisement was shot.
