Now, I have always been a lip diva – I am constantly looking for a way for my lips to look fantastic, shiny and enhanced.  Well, the newest and greatest product from MAC seems to do the trick for me!  The MAC Dazzleglass Cremes Collection seems does everything that it boasts about … and the colors are truly incredible all around!  I have always been a pinky gal, but since this particular line has come out – I’ve been trying all sorts of different colors and they are all ever-so-beautiful!

The cool thing about MAC is that you know that you are going to be getting a quality product.  I think that, that is the hardest thing for most people do deal with – the fact that most of the time, their make up products are not quality and they look like crap.

Now though – your lips can look incredible all of the time and be ever-so-sexy for your spouse – because honestly, that is what we all strive for … right?

The smoky eye is one thing that many – many women try to master on a daily basis; however, it is one of the hardest things to master.  L’Oreal has just made it easier though, with the HIP Kohl eyeliner.  This beautiful bottled and incredible piece of makeup is one of the coolest things and definitely one thing that you should have in your arsenal of makeup supplies.

The loose kohl’s in this liner are very simple to use and they really do give you that professional looking smoky eye that you have probably been trying to get most of your life.  The coolest thing?  They come in six different colors, so you do not have to do black all of the time, however, I think that black looks the best on.

One thing that I have noticed about this particular eyeliner though is that you do have to be very careful with it – as it does stay where you put it.  So really try not to make any mistakes with it!

If there is one thing that scares even me – and I am willing to try a lot, it is going to be bronzer.  Bronzer is something that I do not ever try and honestly, I do not really think that it looks good on a great many people unless you really … really know how to put it on.  However – there is a bronzer that even I am willing to try and it is out of the MAC cosmetics collection – their newest collection mind you the Colour Craft collection.

Now, there is a warm blend of bronzer that they have that is honestly beautiful – it includes three different layers of color, an antique gold, copper and finally a mahogany brown.  All of these colors are swirled together and they actually add something beautiful to my cheeks and that is incredible!  Add that with the Daft pink mineralize blush and you got yourself quite a makeup secret here.

While both items will put you down just under fifty dollars, I can so assure you that it is so worth it.

I know that I talk a lot about makeup and how you should always look your best and to be honest, it is all going to start with the skin.  That is exactly what you need to concentrate on before anything at all.  However, you do not have to spend a whole bunch of money in order to get your skin looking its best – I promise.  There are a ton of different things that you can use for your skin that you can find right in your kitchen!

For example, if you want to put on a face mask that will really help your dry skin, go ahead and dot on some extra virgin olive oil as well as some mashed mango and some raw sugar.  Those three ingredients will give you one of the best and all-natural face and body scrubs in the world!  Another thing that you can do is put some egg whites on your face to fight off some acne and tighten up your skin.

Egg whites also reduce pores, so you will not have those to worry about either.  Skincare does not have to be extremely expensive, it can be as simple as going into your kitchen!

If there is one thing that you need to know about when you are dealing with your skin is acne.  Acne is definitely the enemy for every single woman and I can promise that I have had my fair share of battles with zits and pimples.  Did you know that there are many different ways that you can fight off acne on your face with products that you find in your kitchen?  Well, I didn’t, but I do now!

For example, you can make an Acne Fighting Tonic with basil leaves.  You take two to three teaspoons of dried basil leaves, one cup of boiling water and you steep the basil leaves for about ten to twenty minutes.  You want to cool that and then with a white cotton ball go ahead and apply the mixture directly to your face.

Now, instantly, you will not see results, however you will begin to see a results over time and you will definitely be able to have fresher looking and younger feeling skin!

One look that I am not quite sure that I agree with but it is hot anyway is going to be bold, blood orange lips.  These lips have been seen on the runways of Yves Saint Laurent, J. Mendel, Dries Van Noten, Dolce & Gabbana, & Alexander McQueen and I guess if they can do it – most people can get away with it.  However, I do not think that I could ever pull off reddish-orangish lip color in my life!

Some of the hottest colors though besides orange this season are going to be dark red, blood red and of course some nude colors as well.  This season is all about drama and what is more dramatic than a simple red lip?  Nothing!

So if you want your lips to look good this season, you should at least check out some of these colors – that way you can be fashionable!

Know when you have spent so much time on your makeup only to have it wipe clean off because you are sweating?  This is especially true when it comes to your eye makeup and eye shadow specifically.  However, did you know that there are many different ways that you can make your eye shadow last a very, very long time? You really just have to know exactly what you are doing and that is what we are going to talk about below!

One cool way to make your eye shadow last a really long time is to dip your eye shadow brush into a drop of saline.  The reason for this is because salt actually retains water and the salt in the saline will make your eye shadow extra moist and will keep it on your eyes a heck of a lot longer!

Try this trick and let me know what you think!  I can promise it works – I’ve used it over and over again!

Can we have a talk about Heidi Klum in this blog?  I think that we can!  Personally, I think that Heidi is the cutest thing in the world and now that she has endorsed the In An Instant skincare, I have to tell you that I love her that much more!  With all of the new products on the market today, to be honest, I have not even attempted to improve my skin because it is too much work trying to test them all!  However, this one …. Because Heidi has tested it, I am about to trust!

In a makeup blog, most of the time the only thing that you see is makeup techniques, however, I think that it is important for you to really take care of your skin too, that is why I am doing this post.  Personally, I think that skin without makeup is sometime sexier and that is what this skincare line can do for you!

There is a foaming cleanser that is extremely concentrated but gentle, a scrub, a moisturizer and finally some firming serum and an instant wrinkle smoother for all of us.  All of that for a low cost – which is cool!  Check it out!

Oh, let’s talk about Maxx Factor now shall we?  Personally, I have never used the stuff; however, I did hear that it is pretty good and that many, many people like it – so I’ve heard good things.  One thing I heard is that they have a new face and that is Gisele!  We all know Gisele from pretty much everywhere – countless ads and campaigns, however, I do not think that she ever quite caught a gig like this one and I have to say that I love her in this roll!

Now, onto the makeup right?  Well, some of Gisele’s favorite products by Maxx Factor are going to be Lipfinity 3D Lip Color, MAXeye Liner in Fresh Coffee, Vivid Impact Eye Shadow in Domino Effect and finally the Volume Couture in Black Brown.  Now of course, these are just some of her favorite products, however, these products are pretty freakin’ cool!

As many of us have already heard, fuller, thicker eyebrows are all the rage this season — but those babies can be hard to maintain, especially if you are not used to them. How do you make full eyebrows work for you? How do you make them look good? Well, there are a few essential tools you need to help you out here.

For instance, an eyebrow pencil is essential, especially if you are just letting your brows grow out. Because eyebrow pencils can look rather harsh, however, you have to use them carefully — make sure you do not go too dramatic. Soft, short strokes and blending will keep your brows looking natural.

Some women prefer eyebrow powder, due to its softer appearance and the wide array of colors in which it comes. You need to use an angled eye brush with the powder.

Eyebrow gel is important as well, but being a relatively new innovation, it is often overlooked. It can be clear or in color, but it helps to smooth down wild and unruly brows.
